From any computer or wireless device, open your web browser
and type in the URL that your System Administrator has assigned to you
for starting a remote access session. This URL can be found on the Activation
Notice email you received from your System Administrator or
from the
Registration screen of the I’m InTouch program
running on your PC. An example is https://locator.mycomp.com
Note: Your login may
require a digital security certificate to be installed on the browser
of the computer you are logging in from. If this is the case, you will
receive a message box with the title “Client Authentication” and it will
contain the following message “ The web site you want to view requests
identification”. If you receive this message box, please see installing
your digital client certificate.
Enter the Computer Name that you registered.

In the event that you cannot reach your computer, please ensure:
· The computer you are trying to reach is powered on. If it is not, and you have been assigned “wake-up” feature access by your System Administrator, then you need to login using the wake-up server login to power-on your PC. See using the Wake-up feature below
· The computer you are trying to reach is currently connected to the Internet
· That you have typed the correct Computer Name
· That the I’m InTouch program is running (Enabled) on the computer that you are trying to reach
· If you are running a security or virus protection software package (i.e.; Norton or McAfee) on your computer that I’m InTouch is installed on, ensure that you have configured your security package to work with I’m InTouch. Configuration details can be found here.
Using the Wake-Up Feature
Your ability to use this feature is dependant on whether the System Administrator has enabled this feature for you.
To power on your PC, you will start your remote session by logging into the unique "wake-up server" URL. An example is https://locator.mycomp.com/wakeup. Your system administrator will be able to provide this URL as well as your Wake-Up Password to you.
Step 1 – You will reach a screen requesting your Computer Name and Wake-Up Password. After entering these, select the “Wake-up my PC” button.
Step 2 as displayed on the screen below will appear. The system is proceeding to send a wake-up signal to your PC and power it on for you to remotely access it. This process will take some several seconds as your PC boots up.
Step 3 as displayed below will appear once your PC has been successfully powered on. Select the “Login” button. At this point you are ready to Login using the standard Login procedure that follows this section.

Login - Authenticate Yourself
You are required to authenticate yourself. You will use the Login Name and Password that you chose during installation. Please note that the Password is case sensitive. If you enter an incorrect Login Name or Password more than 3 times, the system will lock your account for up to 5 minutes
